BOAT SHRINK WRAP RECYCLING PARTICIPANTS IN MICHIGAN
SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE BOATING IN MICHIGAN!
Boat shrink wrap is a material made out of LDPE plastic that is used to insulate and protect boats for winter storage. With Michigan's prosperous boating industry, large quantities of single-use shrink wrap is thrown away each year. Luckily, it's recyclable!
Recycle Run is Michigan's official boat shrink wrap recycling program. For over 12 years, we've worked with partners to collect and recycle shrink wrap into new products like composite decking.
Want to make sure that your shrink wrap gets recycled after your boat is winterized? Looking for a marina that prioritizes sustainability?
Use this page to find Michigan marinas, boat shops, communities, and other groups that have recycled shrink wrap via Recycle Run for at at least two years in a row. Click the button at the bottom of this section to view a map of these locations.
