The Business of Recycling &

Local Economic Development

Are you interested in learning about the circular initiatives gaining traction in your region? Looking to network with like-minded innovators? Attend the Business of Recycling & Local Economic Development to bring opportunity to your work!

From waste generators to service providers to manufacturers, Michigan business and industry is an essential cornerstone of the state's circular economy. And, recycled materials are becoming a key feedstock source for those manufacturing new products. In this shifting landscape, private and public sector leaders alike can benefit from understanding the roles that businesses play in the recycling ecosystem.

Join state, regional, and local circular economy leaders to network and explore the business and development opportunities of recycling. This meeting, which is one of four focused on different Michigan regions, will explore regional opportunities, challenges, and discussion about recycling economic development.

This event is the fourth in a series taking place across the state. The East and Southeast regions of Michigan are unique, and The Business of Recycling & Local Economic Development is an informative and interactive workshop that will dive into current recycling initiatives, economic development, and opportunities in the region.

This interactive event will take place from 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM on December 9th in Ann Arbor. The specific workshop location will be made available upon your RSVP to the event. The event is free, but seats are limited, so click the button below to RSVP today!
